And I understand this reaction... It wasn't really unexpected but it does kind of put me down though... >_>.
Anyway I've done my job... I just wanted to give you a sense of what I was talking about...
Maybe if you read all this... and keep on thinking about it... you'll grow to understand what I said a little more...
Anyway good luck and wish you all the best.
“The men the American people admire most extravagantly are the most daring liars; the men they detest most violently are those who try to tell them the truth.” Henry Louis Mencken
“The masses have never thirsted after truth. Whoever can supply them with illusions is easily their master; whoever attempts to destroy their illusions is always their victim.” Gustave Le Bon
“When the natural weakness and imperfection of human understanding is considered, with the unavoidable influences of education, custom, books and company, upon our ways of thinking, I imagine a man must have a good deal of vanity who believes, and a good deal of boldness who affirms, that all the doctrines he holds, are true, and all he rejects are false.” Benjamin Franklin, 1740
“The governors of the world believe, and have always believed, that virtue can only be taught by teaching falsehood, and that any man who knew the truth would be wicked. I disbelieve this, absolutely and entirely. I believe that love of truth is the basis of all real virtue, and that virtues based upon lies can only do harm.” Bertrand Russell
“For the great majority of mankind are satisfied with appearances, as though they were realities, and are often more influenced by the things that seem than by those that are.” Niccolo Machiavelli
“The modern susceptibility to conformity and obedience to authority indicates that the truth endorsed by authority is likely to be accepted as such by a majority of the people.” David Edwards
"All great truths begin as blasphemies." - George Bernard Shaw
If our condition were truly happy, we would not seek diversion from it in order to make ourselves happy.
Blaise Pascal
I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.-- Martin Luther King
"The ideal tyranny is that which is ignorantly self-administered by its victims. The most perfect slaves are, therefore, those which blissfully and unawaredly enslave themselves."
Dresden James
When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.- Dresden James
The aim of a joke is not to degrade the human being, but to remind him that he is already degraded.
George Orwell
the fool doth thinks he is wise but the wise man knows himself to be a fool
William Shakespeare
The foolish and the dead alone never change their opinions.
-James Russel Lowell
"A man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives on."
"A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people."
"It does not matter if the war is not real. The war is not meant to be won but to be continuous. A hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance."
-George Orwell, 1984
Nationalism is power hunger tempered by self-deception.
George Orwell
The trouble with people is not that they don't know but that they know so much that ain't so.
Josh Billings
God offers to every mind its choice between truth and repose. Take which you please; you can never have both. -Ralph Waldo Emerson
All this worldly wisdom was once the unamiable heresy of some wise man.
Henry David Thoreau
“An honest politician is one who, when he is bought, stays bought.” Simon Cameron, Lincoln’s Secretary of War
“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.” Adolf Hitler
“We allow the most atrocious lies uttered by political and moral prostitutes to go unchallenged. These lies are endlessly recycled in the commercial media until they become ingrained in the public conscience as truth. Worse than burying our heads in the sand, we bury them up our collective ass. How do you like the view?” Charles Sullivan
“The statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception.” Mark Twain
Problem 1: Corporations having ways to mass produce and selling to millions of customers in the whole world, and using advertising to get most of them to buy their stuff. All the money goes to these corporations and most of the times the competitors with their less advertised products get barely bought.
These corporations keep on finding ways to make MORE MONEY, buy firing workers and making everything more efficient with technology.
Thus ending with few corporations hoarding most of the money.
Banks place interest on their loans... and if you count all the money that people owe with the money we actually have in the country today... We won't still have enough to fully pay them back and this results in our "servitude" to these corporations and the bankers.
Problem 2: People with the money and power use their resources to buy politicians and get away with it because of their money and power.... O_O
At first this was barely noticeable... but after this long time of government people looking out for selfish interests and partying with the money people give them with taxes... Now it's left a considerable mark on society. And the past governments are laughing their asses off having been able to get away with all this O_O.
Problem 3: Engineering of half-truths... or lies... that integrates themselves in to the consciousness of society. And becomes the truth. The propaganda ministers are a huge part of this. ... To put it in a way that sounds more evil... Brainwashing them.
Saying we're a part of this "team". Making us fight each other while they're warming their asses on fancy cushions. They're manipulating us.
So the third problem is that... all these things are happening... But the government is doing it in a way that they can keep the society from noticing it, or they don't want these kinds of thoughts in their collective consciousness. They're influencing our attitudes with the help of psychological concepts such as obedience to authority, conformity, rationalization, groupthink, deindividuation, stereotyping, and prejudice to carry out their policies."
People not being aware of this makes it a worse problem.
Solution 1: Keep the difference in income with the ideals of capitalism but keep the margins of them for different classes or rank of people from being too far off from each other.
Solution 2: Not listen to the government anymore. Unite with people from all across the nations and forget about the imaginary "lines" in world maps.
Make people more aware of the ways of politics and the state our society is in right now.
I seriously think our first step should be just... making people more aware of these ideals.
Lead and unite... is much better than dividing and conquering... And that's the best solution I think.
You know just peacefully say... we are the majority... We would like to stop being lied to... And we would like a better world for us... and the generations that are surely to precede us.
It's worrying me... and it makes me really depressed at times... But I want people to be more aware about this subject... Because I believe we can change this.
I should've realized it isn't popular the first few times I wrote something similar...
But... I am doing this to fight for this cause that I am naively thinking I could sacrifice my life with...
And I've also had this fantastic talk with a total stranger yesterday for HOURS...
It was weird... You definitely don't open up... and talk about things like that to a stranger... We were talking for hours about different subjects but I could tell... He was very wise and profound. He liked to think... and always tries to improve himself... Or should I say he had a lot of the same values as me.
He inspired me to keep on fighting for this cause... Again.. this is something I might never grow out of.
I told him that I will change this world... (Again I might be full of myself)... I've always had this feeling... that theirs something just not right with the world... and when I was young, for some reason I was SURE I could change this... even if I wasn't really sure what it was that was wrong.
There's millions of different ways to think and view about a subject. I think everyone's views have a certain amount of merit in them. Because... Everyone believes in their own ideals and values... and these generally have value in the world.
So I don't know exactly why I have so much confidence in these ideals... Maybe it's just the type of person that I am.
But know this, I am not saying all these things for selfish reasons... In my case I am saying this because I truly care about the whole of humanity.
And though I am not sure I wouldn't do the same of getting bought if I was a politician... but I am not.
The past that I have... The experiences which became a part of me... These keeps me from being the same kind of people like them.
I think you need to have experienced a lot of suffering... To get a better understanding of other people's suffering.
... Like to be in the darkness to see the stars, it's given me a different kind of view point and I want to work to bring a fairer world onto this planet.
I don't believe in nationalism... I personally think our enemy is the government with the way they're starting wars, and the way that they're detrimental is countless.
I sincerely hope that their comes a time when the people of the earth finds new ways of thinking about things and becomes one world with a better surveillance of government to keep it from getting corrupt.
I'll try my best to take your advices and improve myself though.
I know that it doesn't sound natural here and there... I am trying to work on this...
