I have always really liked Rain and Kenshi. Kenshi sort of owns since he doesn't see with his eyes, but with his heart. His telekinetic heart.

I am loving all the suggestions so far. The series is a must read. It makes you more interesting and popular.

I would suggest the Hunger Games Trilogy.

It is a really great read filled with action and oppressive governments. It is post-apocalyptic in a sense, but it takes place way after is destroyed and is replaced by Panam. The ruling distract simply called "The Capitol" stages the Hunger Games once a year to remind the citizens of districts 1-12 of their failed rebellion 74 years ago. 2 children are chosen from each district to fight to the death in a specially designed arena.

I think the reason why "The Hunger Games" is such a great read is the way the author ends the chapters. Ever freaking chapter ends in a way that makes you want to continue reading. Be warned; do not try finding an ending point between chapters. Stop in the middle, especially if you have to work or get married in the morning.
