I hadn't heard anything about this until this week when some site ran that article about the limited-time ship. I saw that it was made by the guy who did Gunpoint (which is a fantastic game) and thought nothing of it. Now I'm probably going to buy it this weekend. Great QL!
I'm excited to see this in action after hearing about it on the Bombcast and from several friends who are currently playing. Seems like "The Secret Of Nimh But You Control the Murder."
Wow, this is a LOT more action-y than I thought it'd be. I could probably get behind this.
Based off the fact that the base game ended up being close to my GotY even after the shitty opening I'll take your word for it that this one does too. After all, this does a lot of the same missteps in making me initially hate these characters, so it'll likely make the same corrections along the way too.
@tinymothra: This is a story game, first and foremost. It's about the choices you make as everything unfolds. These moments are best experienced unspoiled. It's your choice not to trust me when I say it get's better, but it's also your loss.
Can you guys please do a look at "the good stuff?" I know the first game had the same initial hurdle (almost the entire first episode) to get past the insufferable teen stuff, but based off the previews, this Quick Look, and the simple fact that this is just the Chloe-Rachel relationship prequel, I don't know if I actually believe you that this one gets better.
Many years ago I would have been extremely excited if you said that there will be a "Metroid" that gives you a completely new game every time you play. Infinite Metroids. For ten bucks, maybe, but it still doesn't look like it comes anywhere close to capturing that charm and fun exploration that Metroid and Super Metroid had.
