I listened from start to finish today. I heard him pack the last few vitals into his bag, I heard him run over the piece of car from the wreck and I heard him desperately run to the bathroom at the hotel. Seriously entertaining 6+ hours. Jeff just created a new format. It was genius.
The PS4 console specs on the official Playstation website state that the DS4 has a stereo headphone jack. I'm interested to know whether this can deliver the full game audio or whether it is just for voice chat.
It would be very useful to me if the full game audio could come through this. I do much of my gaming late at night and with headphones (since I don't want to wake others in the house). Being able to plug my cans straight into the controller would be a super convenient feature. What do you think is the likelihood of this being so?
Being on a realistic budget, I will have to choose either Xbox One or PS4 for day 1. I won't be able to afford both. Not for a number of years at least.
So as a gamer first and foremost it ultimately comes down to where will the GAMES look and play the best? I find it strange to hear myself say it but I'm starting to think the PS4 will be the place to be for the core gamer, next gen.
How? If he would not tweet it or make his twitter private than it would be stalking but if its public it is not stalking.

I didn't mean to come across as stalker-ish with this thread. E3 judges week hadn't occurred to me at the time, though I agree it makes sense as the most likely reason for his trip.
At the time of posting I had assumed he was in LA to visit a developer about some new game or other. The implication being that there might be some related coverage coming up on the site this week. Like the GTA5 thing for example.
Sorry if this came across as stalker-ish. Jeff posted the fact that he was in LA on his twitter but didn't say why (not that he is obliged to of course). That was all that piqued my interest.
@bacongames: thanks for this, good spot on the typo! I did think about using youtube annotations instead of putting the text in the actual video. That would have allowed me to correct it now but then I wouldn't have been able to use the cool 8bit font. Plus it wouldn't be seen on iPhones etc.
I agree about the text getting obscured. I did experiment a bit but never got it quite perfect. I thought about having the game footage in a smaller window which would have left room at the top, but I wanted to keep it full screen.
