Fun fact: Ben is probably talking about two separate game shows. The Chair is the one with John McEnroe and had people answer questions while keeping their heart rate up.

Then FOX saw what ABC was going to do and made a knockoff called The Chamber, where people would be shoved into boxes with excess heat or cold while answering questions and making sure their vital signs are at safe levels. Because FOX loved ripping off ideas other networks came up with in the 90s and 2000s.

They... are not very good game shows. I think both of them lasted six months or so.

I just realized that somehow Battle Blaze snuck up a rank since its inception. Wasn't it below Ranma 1/2 Hard Battle, not above? Same with Clayfighter/DBZ UB22 and Star Gladiator/Best of Best.

Granted I'm probably nitpicking a bit too much here, but hey, the science has to be done right, right?

Did the science team have a change of heart regarding Clayfighter after 0023? Cause it's supposed to be above DBZ UB22, not below it. (#39 instead of #41)

For someone like me who keeps a record of where the rankings have been, these constant errors drive me nuts. :P

@steelknight2000: No, it's correct. the Gundam game being at #10 shifted everything down one from its initial ranking at #38. It's in the right spot at #39, above DBZ UB22/27.

Glad there's now an official place where the rankings are, as opposed to others having to rely on outside sources. (Or if you're like me, doing it yourself.)

At least I hope that the next episode just uses this list as an image during placement, seeing just text seems too boring looking. :(

Nothing makes me happier than knowing that Deadliest Warrior Legends is now correctly back as the worst fighting game like it should be.

All things considered, I'd love to see them stick to the "one notable fighting game, one obscure one nobody remembers" method of science-ranking. Only because I'm still waiting for these guys' takes on like, SFII for the SNES or Mortal Kombat 3 on the Genesis or something.

Now there seems to be *two* discrepancies with this list: KOF '94 was meant to be #19 with Battle Fantasia under it at #20, yet they seemed to have switched in-between episodes.

And Sonic the Fighters is still considered the worst when it should be Deadliest Warrior: Legends.

How can I take *any* of this science seriously with these list mistakes??? :P

I'm convinced Ben (or someone) is doing some scientific sabotage, as for some reason Sonic the Fighters went from the 35th best fighting game to the worst fighting game in-between episodes. This puts the science into question.

I mean, yeah, Sonic the Fighters ain't no Rival Schools, but to say it's worse than the trash fire that is Deadliest Warrior: Legends? I call shenanigans.

So with the N64 in the office, does this mean we're gonna see some science on such wonderful games like War Gods, Clayfighter 63 1/3 and Mortal Kombat 4?

I do find it funny they've done more N64 games than they've done PS2 and PS3 games combined, though.
