Sounds great. All I wanted from the ending was something like in Fallout where it explains what effect your choices had.

I prefer Demon's Souls mostly because I played it first. Other than that I really miss the Nexus. Stressful games always need a safe rest area and you can get invaded even at bonfires in this game.

It's a bummer if the 25 faith requirement for warriors of sunlight means that you need 25 faith regardless of how many times you clear bosses for people. If they're just bringing the initial requirement down from 50 though that's cool.

I liked the art direction better in Demon's Souls. That game had a really cohesive art style that made all the levels feel like they belonged in the same low fantasy world. In all its variety Dark Souls loses some of that I think.

I feel a bit cheated out of the Ornstein and Smough battle. The first time I went to Anor Londo I summoned some amazing japanese guy who walked me through the whole level and showed me all the loot, then proceeded to beat both bosses single handedly while I flailed around and chugged Estus. That's the only level I never died in at all.

Sounds like Game Center CX only horrible.

Yeah I almost never have game dreams but I found myself climbing the tower last night. Also I had a slingshot.
