@icyeyes: please read this @brad! i think this exactly is why i often feel like brad quicklooks tend to go a bit wonky... i have also noticed a difference when brad and dan do a quicklook together. dan's chaotic nature helps!
@onemanarmyy: timing and marketing are bigger factors in the success rate than quality, not the other way around. ( look it up! there is an interesting ted talk on the subject )
@babychoochoo: we are talking about unlocking it al in around 10 hours of game play ( characters ) compared to lets guess a good 1000 to 2000 hours in lol.
@amyggen: but poor sale numbers have nothing to do with quality, in this case i blame to things. bad marketing ( clearly a fuck up on there part ) and people instantly dismissing it due to it being a "worse over watch ( barely comparable )
my last part, the business model was more a complaint about reviewers than buyers. why not mention something so positive after complaining about the negatives for years and years. do people actually want change or do they just want to bitch about things?
@tennmuerti: i don't understand it at al, looking at the steam review almost everyone is happy if not better. and the comparatively few bad reviews are mostly based around technical issues rather than "i don't like it"
is it perfect? no nothing is but its not bad at all, including bussnis decisions they made. 1 price for everything, no micro transactions at all and the most important one free maps for everyone to not split up the fan base. sounds like everything that constantly gets asked for yet i don't even see it getting highlighted any ware and that especially makes me sad about the future of gaming.
sorry for the rant, i know it doesn't help but i need to vent >.<
As someone with 400 hours of Rocksmith 2014 this looks lame as hell. I know they're two very different products trying to accomplish two very different things, but still.
