@Sooty: PC Games haven't had any value since the CD-ROM because of all the piracy and digital distribution. games like Mass Effect Collectors Edition or Dead Space Ultra Limited Edition are worth over $700+

women don't like large, noisy tower cases or keyboard and mice all over the coffee table which is inevitable because at some point you will crash to desktop, reinstall drivers or edit some value in a config file.

PC exclusives are scarce so your left with multi-platform titles that are broken, delayed and have a smaller install base.

PC games have no collecting value

your significant other might object to having a computer in the living room

you can't leave a computer connected to a Plasma television.

Bioware games are all about the story and universe. that's the carrot on the stick.

Platinum Hits with the 'Bring Down The Sky' DLC (2009) sell for $20

Collectors Edition (2009) sell for $700+
