Viking: Battle for Asgard got a 68% on metacritic and I think it's one of the best action/adventure games on the platform.

I had a lot of fun with this game. The Conan game as well, both were fun 5 or 6 hour actions romps.

I thought 3 was pretty fun for what it is. Certainly worth it at that price.

I really enjoyed the Risen games, especially the first one. Something about the janky European RPG appeals to me.

Noticed this on the PS3 as well. It's like the game is constantly checking to load up the right situation for your playthrough. Definitely annoying.

I know they are annoying people everywhere now, but the new Fun. album is pretty disappointing. Their first one is quite a bit different then the loud hip-hop production of the new stuff.

Love my Vita from a hardware perspective but I just don't see developers/publishers taking advantage of the thing. Sony would have to really push it but they are in a financial mess and probably don't have the means to entice the creation of serious games for the platform. It's a shame.

Ben There, Dan That and Time Gentlemen, Please! are both worth playing as well. Very self aware and humorous adventure games.

People hate Streetlight Manifesto and Silversun Pickups? Anyway I've heard both Tested and Giant Bomb dudes talk bad about 311 but as my name betrays, I'm a big fan.

Streetlight Manifesto and RX Bandits are good choices, though RX last three albums are more like progressive ska than the traditional stuff. If you want humor and can tolerate Christianity Five Iron Frenzy is fantastic, and I say that as an atheist.

Duke 3D on the PC, one on one style. For console it must have been Mech Assault, I remember how amazing it was to have that kind of multiplayer with voice chat and all on a console.
