In my opinion, Sony has a lot the fate of VR in their headset. I'm not saying ENTIRELY so, but think of it like this. They've got the cheapest setup regardless of not bundling the camera/controller. My guess is that more people have (or are willing to obtain) PS4's than VR ready PCs. I also think it's more likely that we see Playstation VR demo stations in retail outlets than the competitors. Is Oculus and HTC going to supply high powered PCs nationwide to retailers? I doubt it. Speaking for the hope that VR doesn't just evaporate into irrelevance, I hope Sony's headset is impressive enough, and that there isn't a huge hit in performance or quality because of the price and power disparity from the competition.
Personally, I've got a VR ready gaming PC, so my knee jerk choice would probably be Oculus over the other two, but I'm also not exactly chomping at the bit to own a headset as soon as possible. I could see myself getting one a little down the road, based on what games support it, and how big of a deal those experiences are. I'm still not totally sold on VR, but I'd like it to at least have a chance.
am i blind or did Jeff just unload an entire clip into that guy with ass-all effect? lol... yea, that's a quality game, right there! XD
I've not played the game, but it looks like he was chipping away the armor. I don't blame you that much for not noticing since the armor bar is the same color as the health bar.
Still one of my favorite things they've done on this site. Kind of interesting to hear them make some comments you'd never hear on modern giant bomb. Times change I guess.
