@dasakamov: Serious question: why would you expect Giant Bomb to hold them to account? Giant Bomb does not exactly engage with issues in the industry in a way other outlets do. There will be another silly chat with Ed Boon at E3 where, if it gets mentioned at all, it will be mentioned for under 10 seconds and not brought up again.
I always find it weird how people think Nintendo should have called the Switch "The Nintendo" when they rightfully lambasted them for calling the Wii U, the Wii U after the release of the Wii. Calling their console "The Nintendo" surely would not cause problems for their follow-up console....
I feel like they should watch GT just to spite everyone who says they should not and that they should watch the original Dragon Ball. At the very least, I imagine they would enjoy the first several episodes of GT.
It is very weird hearing people talk about Crackdown 1 as this well-regarded game when that was never the impression I got from the games media, ever, until now with Giant Bomb acting like that. It is remembered fondly by some people, but that seems to be about it.
I guess no one at Giant Bomb remembers that the "actual" Pokemon game is supposed to come out this year. Assuming it does not get delayed, I feel like there is no way Animal Crossing would be chosen over that if they theme their E3 area again.
Hoo boy, the misidentification of that Spider-man game. I guess that is what happens when your memories of the industry begin in the 80's and end in the 90's. Also, Brad temporarily went back to thinking they were playing on PS2, as none of the PS1 Crash games were more than two years older than Mario 64 despite him saying Mario 64 was 5 years prior to the Crash game here.
@roadshell: It is a classic due to the era it came out in and how well-known the game is, primarily due to the sprites and voices, but only people who delude themselves about it would consider it an actually-good game.
