I think Sonic Mania is a must have if you have even the slightest bit of nostalgia for old sonic, it's a really good fit for the Switch.

As for Splatoon 2, I play my Switch 90% of the time undocked and I have really enjoyed playing Splatoon 2 in this way. I play with motion controls too, and while it does require you to sit in a certain position I think it works well. Actually the thing I would say about Splatoon 2 is that it's not great at maintaining longevity, the first 5 or so hours with it are great but my interest at least started dropping off after that.

Thumper is pretty good, I can vouch for that and it's a good port.

Hi all, wanted to ask a few questions about the European contingent of the Giantbomb community.

Basically, I am really interested in if there are any discord channels, groups, forum threads etc where UK and European based members get together to play stuff. I've tried looking around and if these things do exist I haven't been able to see them.

A little bit about me, I am from the UK but I have been living in Poland for the last two years and I'm starting to miss being a part of a "Gaming Community" for want of a better word. The recent hype about Destiny initially had me thinking that "Nah probably won't play it" because it's best enjoyed with other people. However, I think it's silly for me to have been a member of this site for about 8 years and not at least seen if there's an opportunity that I might be missing out on.

Additionally, I've been travelling a lot since 2015 and starting to miss aspects of chatting to people from the UK (although not by no means am I suggesting UK only) and it'd be nice to get back in to an online community again. Also you know, thought it'd be better to check here because I reckon this community will be relatively chill and mature (I'm 25) and I can't be arsed with edge lords.

I have a semi-decent PC and a Switch.

So yeah, are you lot around or....?

Secondary question, is there a Polish scene here too? Shout if you're about.

Since 2008 shortly after discovering Podtoid when I was browsing the itunes podcast section for other things to listen to. Had no idea who Jeff, Ryan, Brad and Vinny were but liked it because it because the podcasts were long and it was very chill and generally entertaining. It was a nice companion to Podtoid that was more hilarious but also far more abrasive.

Judging from the flashback scene Rey was also being trained by Luke and therefore may have been given the genesis of some of the possibilities of the force (ala Jedi Mind trick) which she later on in life instinctively thought to try out.

They're not comparable at all, one is post-apocalyptic "steampunk via medieval fantasy" and the other is "post-nuclear war cyberpunk."

Ghost in the Shell vs Akira

or

Nausicaa vs Mononoke

Is fine. But Nausicaa vs Akira?

@Insectecutor: I don't think that'll be for non-subscribers.
