my advice is to not allow your roommate's feisty young beagle to chew through the cord of whatever (expensive fucking) brand you decide on. sorry if that doesn't help your situation, but it is a hard lesson to learn firsthand, and wanted to make sure you didn't learn it the way i did.
Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Doug Stanhope, and Louis C.K.
There are a lot of good comedians, but these will likely stick with me for a long time. They stand out and in large ways, seem to define a lot of the material newer performers have that I've seen recently.
hot damn! these are the 4 that i had planned on posting milliseconds upon reading the topic. well done, my friend. you saved me the trouble. i also like Eddie Izzard and Ricky Gervais.
i haven't played it in forever, but i quite honestly don't have memories of huge bug issues. i loved it, for a while anyway, until i got bored of it. and i didn't even have an internet connection to download patches at the time. so, fucking play it, if you want. or something newer and probably much better.
i wish the guy well, but i didn't find his work at GI (the only place that I know him from) to be particularly compelling. He seems to have similar tastes in games as I do, but I never really dug his reviews or his reasoning behind them. The 'Reiner and Phil' thing was decent for a while, but they seemed to veer toward trying to be entertaining rather than actually being entertaining by around the time they did that CSI game toward the end of last year. anyway, good luck, fella.
