Rage/Calm quits

These are games that I've quit in either a fit of rage, or I just stopped caring about the game and put it down indefinitely. I'll try to make this list span my entire gaming career but it will take me a while to reflect and look back.

List items

  • I'll just link to the series so this doesn't show up multiple times. I've quit on the first game and Brotherhood. I quit on the first game because I found the game to be buggy, the controls annoying, and the missions monotonous. I also quit on Brotherhood for more of the same reasons after a much smaller amount of playtime.

  • I had a hard time seeing this as a game.

  • I have numerous issues with this entry in the series, but my main reason is honestly the oddest out of this list. All I cared about playing the game was to find out who said the words in the games opening. Once I found out, I stopped playing.

  • Anyone who has played this game and had issues with it, probably had the same nightmares as me when the Kinect was announced. For those who don't know, this game was entirely operated by voice control. At least for me, trying to say Molotov cocktail was my breaking point for this and stop gap for any game with a predominate voice control aspect.

  • (PC/360) I'm very particular about my Sonic games. For me, playing this game on 360 felt completely off. I'm the Sonic fan that can tell you if I'd hate a game in the series by how Sonic feels from a jump. I've heard the PC version is better. I'll try again when I have a better rig, but I swear it feels exactly the same to me.

  • This is a pay to win game (like any TCG) and I'm officially done with this type of game. Vindictus is my last.

  • fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on you exponentially.
