just like fighting games should be forced to provide vs AI content for those like me who don't like to face online plAyers... racing games should also do the same, and unfortunately gt sports has tons of restrictions with no internet connection, which is garbage

Watched this movie the other weekend, awesome stuff

Loved all the fight sequences but IMO the best was the machete showdown and that kill involving the torn up doorframe, just awesome

My advice?

move out of australia. I couldnt live in a place where videogames are so expensive. Plus thats just additional suffering on top of the constant threat of Great White sharks, sydney funnel web spiders, dingos, cobras, etc

and vegemite? ugh

How is the exploration element?

Is there lots of random buildings to find and explore? can you go to upper floors in some of the high rise buildings and shoot down at people below, jump from balconies, etc?

To me, urban free roam games live and die by the quality of level design and the desire to find new things

I loved scouring Libery City in GTAIV and finding the buildings to go in, or jumping off the huge skyscrapers in TBOGT

All horizontal except for the wii

the wii came with that vertical stand and it was still short enough to fit on my media center shelf

the rest are just too tall to do so

i suppose i could start with the same idea... think of all the common video game objects/tropes and try mixing a few together till i find something that doesnt sound AWFUL

and i agree, i never really wanted game in the name, as its so generic sounding

I am almost through this entire game without a CPP and never had issues except during the fast paced boss fights, and you just deal with it

i did play a ton of MGS Peace walker though, and so maybe im just used to face button aiming

Ok so I was a huge fan of the giantbomb crew when they were at gamespot, followed them here, etc

Has anyone ever heard the story of how giantbomb.com came to be?

reason i ask is because im trying to start my own .com website to blog about my playthroughs, post some reviews, have discussions with friends, etc

because i dont have grand plans right now it would be easy to pick some silly stupid name and make it a .net or .us or something, but who knows, maybe i wil have so much fun with it and down the line my friends and i would like to actually generate real web traffic to it...

thats why i want to make it a .com and be somewhat serious about it. Problem is i swear EVERY name i could think of for a gaming website is taken. ive spent hours plugging in different names to make stuff work. even used tools like bustaname.com to mix words together, no luck

ive given up on the idea of having "game" or "gaming in the title, and then i look at this site... where did they get giantbomb? it doesnt automatically scream "gaming" but it just works... dont know why. its catchy

so i turn to you guys for help and inspiration. any tips on how to find a name? any good name ideas yourself that would sound ok/cool and might be available to use?

i never thought the most frustrating part would be getting the name... i dont know any html so im really anxious to start but once i start with a name everything rides off that, so i have to choose once and wisely
