No, I think it works as a category. I really think they need to iron out the specifics on their system. Like@wjb said in his post, it really became a circle-jerk.
Overall, no real complaints. I think it could use some improvements in areas, like the friends list (as an example) not being easy to sort/manage etc... Also, some UI customization would be great.
@ssully: Yeah, it was interesting to hear some of the debate going on after I finished the game, which helped me clarify some of the convoluted details of the story. It was way funner to just go with it and not try and nitpick it to death, because it's a video game after all.
I really like the idea. I don't really game on PC so this might be an alternative. Though I'll need a lot more information to decide. Pricing (especially compared to self-built PC's), availability of games etc...
Yep, like others have said, it's all about the dynamic range of the speakers and just how the discs are mixed.
@e30bmw: I only got a PS3 around the time that Last of Us came out, but man did that give me a new appreciation for Naughty Dog. Love the ability to mess around with the dynamic range in the settings. It really gave the guns (especially the technical in TLoU) some punch.
Not really surprising at this point. I think at this point, if it uses the internet, the NSA is able to obtain some type of data from it.
At this point, I'm super interested to see what else comes from Snowden's files. Isn't this supposed to be the tip of the iceberg? I could've sworn I read somewhere that this is like 1% of the overall data he ran off with.
