It's too bad we didn't get any Boku Dracula-kunin-between Castlevania III and IV, but perhaps Vinny will go back to the spin-off titles after we get through the main series. I can dream, can't I?
Maybe I'll just try suggesting it for "Choose Our Own Adventure" at some point, now that that's a thing.
I wonder if it'll use SD cards like was rumored. It'd make some amount of sense, if the system is planned to be mobile as well as a home console. Not like it matters that much, but it'd be kind of a cool novelty if we got something resembling cartridges for a home console after all this time. :P
Anyway, I've always preferred Nintendo's design aesthetics for their consoles' interfaces over Sony or Microsoft, even if the feature set for Nintendo's platforms haven't been up to par recently. They've always positioned them as game consoles first-and-foremost instead of all-around media devices.
If Nintendo can get a more powerful console and in-turn get that sweet, sweet third-party dev support... this could be Awesome! :D
I'm kind of excited to see Vinny play some Super Castlevania IV.
Although, I do wonder if he'll play some Boku Dracula-kun first. After all, it did come out in-between Castlevania III and Castlevania IV, and it was a home console release.
