@wwweh: So would I to be honest. Not saying I would do away with Quick Looks in favour of Time Trotters. Hell, the popularity of GB was basically on the back of Quick Looks.

I'm mainly just hinting at how awesome it would be for the GB crew to have access to funding that would allow a greater amount of high quality content to come out of them. Should be gooooood.

@Mirado: Well I think focusing on old, bad games is something that GB does really well. The SNES marathon and Chrono Trigger ER for example, they were really well done. Granted, not all of the games in the Marathon were bad.

Just thought it'd be awesome seeing GB cover terribly old games, swear at them, make fun of them and throw some stupid cartoon around it just because they can (now).

It just came to mind that Jeff and Ryan might actually be able to produce episodes of Time Trotters again. In Jeff's "Jar Time" videos he always said that it'd be tough to do due to the fact that they didn't possess the rights to Time Trotters or the amount of funding needed to do so.

Now that they're back at CBSi, maybe it could be done? Even if they're not totally into idea anymore, they could produce content with similar production effort in the future. I'm really looking forward to seeing what comes out of the new Giant Bomb offices...

@TruthTellah: Yea, it looks like Vinny and Drew are pretty excited. Rightfully so. Vinny tweeted this earlier.

I'm looking for anyone around Australia/NZ to play with me. I really want to finish the game but I'm not really compelled to do so by myself. I don't have the DLC yet either, but I'll certainly get it once I finish the regular campaign.

@MattyFTM: That totally makes sense. But saying that, I'd love to see GOTY feature podcasts streamed live. Anything they talk about will be long out of embargo since all those games are obviously released. That'd be cool...

doesn't work either, they record those way in advance of when they're published.

Oh yea, that totally slipped my mind. Ah well, looks like it might not happen then!

The first console I actually owned was a GameCube. But my family owned consoles before that, so my first gaming memory would be on our SNES. Playing Super Mario World would probably be my first memory, and having an awesome time with that.

On a side note, I specifically remember my brother's friend bring a copy of a Mortal Kombat game over and my mum not allowing me to watch them play because it was too violent for me. Haha.
