@doctordonkey: As someone who has watched season 2 and is up to date with the manga, I wholeheartedly agree. It's still something that I ponder about on occasion. Don't know if it's my fascination with apocalyptic fiction, but what if it was just humans vs titans feels more interesting to me. Or I would settle at least with Eren not surviving, would feel less of an anime trope and a better plot twist.
Weirdly enough I didn't have a problem with them eating while talking. Usually I do mind when someone is chewing loudly near me, but this time there was no bother...
Maybe Vinny's suffering was too engrossing to notice, who knows! :D
