This seems as weird as the Kongregate purchase. Think Geek at least made more sense. I think it's even weirder that it's with Insomniac though.
On a side note, I actually don't mind my local Gamestop. Quality of a Gamestop seems really luck of the draw, I've had some real shitty experiences too, but the one near me currently and the one that was next door to me when I was going to school have both been pretty good overall.
The thing I hope the industry doesn't leave behind is the good licensed game. I would kill if someone out there made an Iron Man or Spider Man game made with the quality and care Rocksteady gave Batman. Also I want another Darkstalkers...yeah, I'm one of THOSE people >_>;;;;
