Am I the only one in thinking that the underground scene in the quicklook was in horrible fucking taste? It wasn't funny, fun or interesting. It was just fucking bad. It served no purpose except making you feel incredibly uncomfortable. Why???? I don't get how anyone would find girls vomiting and sobbing fun. Any interest in playing the game has vanished after seeing the quicklook. Please tell me that someone else feels this way...

Perhaps everyone is looking at that scene all wrong. Maybe that scene was actually subversive and self-aware? This is the man everyone was waiting for; someone who says's "you're fucked" to women who have been impregnated by aliens. Are you not entertained?

Just a future tip: you don't have to link your blogs to the forums. Just skip that part after you've written your blog, and no one will ever know you made one (unless they creep around your profile).

It was fucked up and disturbing if you ask me.  Not something I would expect from the tone the Duke trailers put out.  Definitely less interested after seeing it.

I think it's could have been a great scene in a serious game but it was really unsettling seeing that and three seconds later going for a tit/butt/penis joke right after and then coming back to it and then going for another unfunny crude joke.

Most of the level just involves running around figuring out where the hell you are and solving door puzzles.

I was defending Duke Nukem... but I can't defend the underground scene you are talking about... it was in poor taste to say the least.
