paying/grinding to unlock characters in a moba style game... ya no thanks.
I downloaded the game this morning, had maybe 6 solo vs AI games (just over two hours of in-match time), and have unlocked all the characters. It's a ramp just long enough to keep you from getting to the weird stuff immediately.
EDIT: just noticed some folks had replied to you already. oh well!

It looks pretty good. Feels pretty great on the controller, but it only has Playstation button icons and, ultimately, mouse and keyboard are still superior.
I haven't done any pvp yet, but I think the video may have come off dull just because it was solo vs ai. The AI is dumb; the other team dies with regularity and I'm not convinced your team couldn't win without you. An all-player match ought to fix all of that.
I like the card system, I like that it doesn't have a screwy, exploitative f2p economy, and I like that looking at this game - particularly heroes like Greystone - makes me think of the character design of UT through it's history. I don't know if it will have legs, but I'll keep messing with it, for sure.
Huh, there was a branded suppressor in one of the gear vendor menus. Strikes me a bit funny...not sure why though. I mean, games have called out weapons by name. I guess I just wonder if there's business going on there or if they just want to ground things in reality a bit.
...I don't remember the memorial wall in ME3. Hmm.
After viewing the Youtube videos about Indoctrination Theory, though, I suddenly believed the whole of ME3 was strong storywork and that they stuck the landing.
why does it run bad and how come pacman's mouth doesnt animate
I'm wondering if it's actually a poor framerate or if this thing is basically turn-based. If you stop, uh, Pac-Manning your arms, maybe the ghosts stop as well. In other words, the games operating at 5-10 turns-per-second and they didn't see fit to stitch those turns together with more frames. That would let the player take a rest without having to scramble for the smart device.
Still, it looks and sounds dreadful. I can't believe kids care about Pac-Man either.
@hobbz: I saw one of the GBEast guys say something that made it sound like they recorded seven hours of this at once. It potentially will be a long time before we see an ep where they have received feedback post episode 2.
