OnLive.. EVIL? or Good?

So this whole OnLive business has left me thinking that while its a cool idea, it seems EVIL. Here are some points I thought up about why this could be terrible or not:

- There will be no need to buy computer upgrades because its streamed; therefore loss of tons of jobs at nvidia and other computer companies.

-  If we purchase a game and decide to cancel the service, or our internet we can no longer play it since we don't have it downloaded. It also means we don't own our games anymore which is sad in a way, and what if they have to remove the game as it gets older for space? Can we never play it again?

- If you don't live in the USA, how long do you have to wait for this service? Will it even leave the states?

- Virtually no piracy is good for developers, but does that mean no more homebrew or mods?

- You have to be physically close to one of their server hubs to not experience any lag, possible issues for people living in different places.

- Possible internet upgrade required for some users (Worth it anyways) Although most current internet connections will work fine. However if your internet isn't fast
enough, your game will seem sluggish in responsiveness = You Lose Games because you can't react fast enough.

- No more playing consoles while you have things downloading because you need the internet always. Also, nobody will be able to download while anyone is playing games. Problem if you have siblings or parents that like to download things.

Theres probably alot of other issues too but thats what I could think of, also theres the possibility of this service having a monopoly on the market = BAD/ILLEGAL. If another service is created (eg PC => Mac) Then we will have the PS3 vs Xbox 360 Issue all over again!! Some games on each, but now we need our internet to play.
