This is a great and really well written list. Also, it's always heartwarming to meet another fellow Saints Row 2 supporter ;)
The one thing I really disliked about SRTT is how Steelport was an incredibly barren and mundane city to muck about in. In SR2 you had people doing things, a huge variety of distinctive civilians, cops constantly engaged in warfare against the gangs & pimps, and there were random ad-libs you'd hear all over the city too. In relation beyond the occasional instance of spotting somebody wearing a furry/mascot outfit, fuck all actually happens on the streets of Steelport! As an open world game I'd say SRTT was pretty boring frankly.
And of course many of SR2's best activities were removed, there weren't multiple fighting styles, you couldn't customise the interior of your cribs, and customisation in general was skimmed a bit in certain respects. I missed being able to choose from a variety of stupid walking animations for my character.
I bought the Phantom Pain brand new, and yet I've barely played past the prologue... I don't know why, but I have an almost aggressive disinterest in playing that game currently. I think part is down to how I've slowly but surely been edging myself off of the MGS hype train. MGS4 sucked, and Peace Walker wasn't much better, and despite the overwhelming praise towards MGSV (at least towards the gameplay) I've found it difficult to motivate myself to play more. Hell, I've already (willingly) been spoiled on all of the big story beats too, because I evidently didn't care enough to see them play out in the game itself.
I think it might just be the open world format and how I'm starting to become outright numb to the excitement of exploration and 'emergent gameplay' ect., even if MGSV isn't necessarily a 'true' open world. I only played about four hours of Arkham Knight as well before setting it aside.
