@undeadpool: I think Alex had the right idea and I hope Dan listens to him. They should pick whatever they agree to be the "best" choice given at the moment. If that is the "wrong" choice, like punching the dish, that is fine, but I don't want them to actively avoid picking the right choice in favor of the "dumb" choice like Dan wanted to do. The Yanki quest and the Dominatrix quest proved that the right choice can also be the most entertaining choice.
Really great episode. Nice mix of side stuff and story, possibly because it was longer than average. If you're not going to do 2 episodes a week I would like to see this be more representative of the average length of episodes. The first time Alex suggested they were about to stop would have left me less satisfied.
Also, hell yes, Majima time. Kiryu is a cool dude, but Majima is the real star of 0.
@the_juice: @gregalor: I believe Kiwami (the remake) is the one that added the ridiculous Majima delusions though, so that version might even be the weirdest yet.
I'm sure they'll get a million comments about it, so I'm not going to harp on them too much, but it's a little frustating watching how little they were paying attention to when that heat icon was popping up. There aren't a lot of environmental action in this game. It's more that you pick up stuff in the environment and use it to heat the shit out of enemies. That being said, it is an absolute necessity that you guys throw/heat someone off a high ledge or railing at some point.
All the same, this is still my favorite content on the site right now. It's going to be another agonizingly long wait for the next episode.
I have not payed much attention to this game at all. Even the recent praise and Souls comparisons did little for me, mainly because I'm SO burnt out on that entire franchise at this point. But now actually seeing this in action this looks pretty alright. If nothing else, this seems like a waaay more interesting twist on the Souls formula than the trashpile of bad ideas that was Bloodborne. The fact that there is a proper block button is almost enough to sell me right there.
There's too much coming out soon to even consider buying it right now, but someday it will go on my to-do list.
@awesomeo4000: Kiwami is only a remake of 1 I believe. I'm pretty certain the only way to play a translated version of 2 for the forseeable future will be the original PS2 version.
I just got a new puppy a few months ago, and he's a very sweet and loveable (and hyper) little doggie that I'm happy to have in my life right now, but if I had to choose only one animal as a pet in the future it would be a cat without a moments hesitation. I've had cats around me since the day I was born and I couldn't imagine living without one for long. My dog loves me, but he also loves every person who walks through the door almost as much. But when my cat loves me I know I am special, and that's always a nice feeling.
Dogs are also just SO much more work. As long as you feed a cat and pet them they'll love you and take care of themselves. But dogs need training, walking, and tons of attention and play. It's exhausting...
