It's not "Fallout" open but a bit more similar to Deus Ex where most of the time there's more than one method to approach a mission whether by stealth, combat, or talking your way out of a problem.
That's a pretty good description of it. But, as others have said, you still need to spec into some sort of combat to become at least proficient. The ending portions of the game became ridiculously hard without any combat skills.
Yeah, most PCs have persistent connections. But inevitably your connection will go down at some point which will not allow you to play the game. Most of the time when I have cable connection problems it's early in the morning when they do maintenance. Well, screw having to be connected to continue playing. It's just another way for them to keep you plugged into their stupid battlenet servers. Ever since Blizzard merged with Activision it's been out for one thing, money. There isn't even a word to describe the depths of Bobby Kotick's greed. Maybe, "piggy piggy piggy-fuck-piggy piggy" After they dropped LAN play from SC2 and split, what should've been a one time release game into 3 parts, I stopped buying Blizzard products.
I wish they would show more of the game in 3rd person view. I hate playing in first person. I like to see my toon. I just hope the 3rd person animations don't look as wooden as FO3.
Let the customer decide. I, for one, absolutely hate government making any decision for me. It's my goddamn decision what to spend my money and time on, and as long as I'm not hurting anyone, leave me the F alone.
