    Overview

    Based upon the german Mauser pistol, the Red9 is one of five available handguns in Resident Evil 4. Though while it's the most powerful of the lot, it has a highest degree of recoil and the slowest fire rate of the game's handguns. There is an additional stock item players can purchase that'll help to negate some of the recoil, however. Alongside being purchasable by Leon, supporting character Luis Sera is shown to use it as well.

    The Red9 hasn't made any other appearances in the series besides the spin-off Mercenaries 3D as apart of an unlockable weapon-set.
