    Red Dead Redemption is the spiritual successor to 2004's Red Dead Revolver, featuring a vibrant, open world set in the decline of the American Wild West. Players take on the role of former outlaw John Marston, who is forced to hunt down his former gang to regain his family.

    I will buy this because it has a single palyer component. I honestly don't know why Rockstar did not do what they did with GTA IV and give RDR HUGE expansive single player events

    Well, I certainly wouldn't complain. Though, I'm not sure which characters I'd like to see take the lead. Of course, there's always the villains from John's old gang, though to be honest, I'd really like to see Landon Ricketts get some single player DLC treatment. To take it a little further, I'd like to see it back when he was in his prime around 20 years before RDR takes place. That way, they could also change the map. Certain cities wouldn't exist yet, or would be in their early stages. Settlements could be a lot more rudimentary and basic. You could run into Dutch's old gang, maybe have a run-in with a younger John Marston, and so on. I think there could be a lot of potential in making that kind of DLC experience.

    Hell yes! Hopefully, this is the first of many. GTA IV's added content gave that game double the replay value, so I'm all for more RDR!

    Yeah, I think it could be really cool. Landon Ricketts was a really interesting character, but unfortunately he's just there for a few missions and then that's it. I think it'd be a great to see what he was like in his prime.

    They could have a lot of fun with zombie animals.  Like, you horse could become infected while you're riding it.

    They are primarily slow, though there will be different types of zombies that move faster then some.
