Oh boy that video. Makes me appreciate all the more what giant bomb do.
Anyway, I'll grab this just for more RB3 tracks but looks like an interesting concept as well.

A game that plays like Frequency/Amplitude and has a potential library of thousands of rock songs? I'm crying tears of blood right now.
That name, man. I remember gaping in awe after I first completed Mirror's Edge and saw one Tiberius Astianax Lazar scroll by in the credits. I wanna be a Tiberius! Or a Drake, or a Lazar, it doesn't even matter which...!That is pretty cool if Drake's second name really is Tiberious
So, I liked Frequency, and might want to play thing, but I'm wondering if I'll even be able to.
Rock Band never came out in Poland. Well, The Beatles: Rock Band did, but with no instruments, and no RB DLC is in the PlayStation Store. So This might also not come out, and even if it does then It'll probably not have any DLC and I'll be limited to the base 25 songs. That's a good number of songs, but kind of misses a big point of the Rock Band franchise and the cross compatible DLC :/

I don't really think this is Amp/Freq at all, but that's just from judging from a 2:50 video. The two buttons really worry me, but I am willing to give this game a chance. I WANT to love it but I just don't know. 2 buttons looks very weird, and i'm guessing they're auto-generating from the tracks using some kind of method like this:...
Luckily, if you're training for a real career as a DJ Max player, you can also play in Pro Controller mode, where you play all four lanes simultaneously using 8 buttons.
Hang on, that idea started as a joke but it'd be awesome.
I'm curious to know how much this game will cost, and in direct conjunction with that, what the 25 song setlist will be. Considering it's likely to be downloadable game pricing, $15 for 25 songs for your Rock Band 3 DLC collection is a mighty fine price. I mean hell, even $20 is a good deal.
This is exactly what I wanted from Harmonix after Rock Band 3, good throwback to frequency and amplitude. The rock band game I played the most was Rock Band Unplugged on PSP because it was the like frequency and amplitude
I needed the next Harmonix game not to be a "Rock Band" game.
Don't get me wrong - I was a Rock Band early adopter and I loved the shit out of the first few games.
I guess I was hoping for something more different and creative. I thought VidRhythm meant they were going to go off on some crazy tangent. This is certainly not going to draw me back in to the franchise.

I bought BRODYQUEST off Rock Band Network not knowing if I would play it, since the Rock Band formula has felt a bit stale to me in recent months.
Suddenly, they've come up with an avenue in which that song feels like essential day-one DLC. Thanks, Harmonix!
WAIT, BRODYQUEST IS ON RBN? There goes my day.

@FonkyMucker said:more like a port of a 3 year old psp gameRock Band Blitz, more like AMPLITUDE 2!
I hope they add some amplitude tracks "Whats going on Mekon?", "Everyone Says Hi", "Kings of Rock" ....... basically every track off Amplitude
Yeah, why are they saying it's "brand new" and "completely different from what they've done before" when they already put this game out almost three years ago? I fully appreciate the compatibility with my downloaded/purchased Rock Band library, but still. Don't lie to me, Harmonix man. I know you're lying.
