Overview

Kiryu's initial meeting with Takashima gives the impression of a kind and wise advisor of the likewise honorable Chairman Jin Goda of the Omi Alliance. Once Ryuji's coup de ta goes into action, and Jin is consequently kidnapped, his true colours as a master manipulator is revealed. He intents to use the Jingweon Mafia as well as the Omi Alliance to spread his influence throughout most of the Asian mainland. Those goals are put to an abrupt end by Ryuji Goda.

Yakuza: Kiwami 2

In the Truth of Majima scenario unique to Yakuza Kiwami 2 alone, it is implied by Ryuji that Takashima had a hand in Kei Iibuichi's plot to reach the rank of Captain and that was he was in the former's pocket. Takashima denies it.
