I was eyeing this game on PC, but I read that it had a shitload of technical issues. Does anyone know if the patch that came out recently make this game good enough to be worth it?

It has technical issues on every platform. It says on steam there was an update very recently that fixes some issues. I have no idea if that fixes the majority of them though, and what is still left. It says it fixed some crash bugs and other things in game.

Hmm alright, well maybe I'll download it first to make sure runs alright then.

I was considering pirating it to test it out, but almost all the comments about it in The Pirate Bay were saying that it was one of the worst ports ever, so I decided to wait. Regardless, I am busy with GTAIV atm =P (despite its lack of AA)

Well I can't even try it out if I pirate it, because the only way you can get the patch is on Steam :\.

Yet another case where me not being able to pirate the game will ultimately lead to me never buying it.

(I'd rather play through GTAIV again on PC, but it would shit all over my computer)
