The game's Steam pagedoesn't say anything about Steamplay or OS X compatibility. I'd make sure that there's an OS X version available before making a purchase.

That video card isn't so great. The game would run, but I think you would have to use the low graphics setting.

the card isnt awful actually, 720p should be fine with most everything max, 1080p would be difficult for some of the fancy settings, & it's a fair amount faster than the minimum requirements

the only question is... how do drivers work on macs in bootcamp?

You've got the same machine I do, and the problem comes when you factor in the display resolution. The 27 inch display's native resolution being far beyond 1080p doesn't help. If you're willing to play at lower, non-native resolutions you may be okay like kn00tcn mentioned. However, you've got to be willing to drop certain settings if you wish to play at the native resolution. This applies to most 2011 releases running on newer engines. I'm able to run Portal 2 just fine with everything pretty much maxed, but that's Source for you.

And kn00tcn, Apple supplies drivers through their Windows software updater. You can also go to AMD's website and get the drivers yourself. The Mac is essentially a Windows PC once you're in Bootcamp.
