Shinji Mikami
Shinji Mikami is best known as the father of Resident Evil, defining the survival horror genre. He also contributed to other Capcom franchises like Viewtiful Joe, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney, and directed the acclaimed third-person shooters Resident Evil 4 and Vanquish. After working for Capcom and Platinum Games, he started his own studio Tango Gameworks, which has been acquired by Bethesda.
