Fun fact about Point Break - apparently for insurance purposes, Patrick Swayze who began to love skydiving when training for it in pre-production, was told to stop skydiving in his free time once production started. As a bargain, he got to do that one jump from the plane that'd be featured in the movie for real. It is somewhat unclear if Swayze actually stopped skydiving in his freetime during shooting though. :D

Gonna be fun for them to experience the cliffs of extreme time dilation, which tbf happens a lot in anime.

Man I wish these were weekly but I'm still excited for the future of the pod.

I'm kinda sad they were calling the rope trick silly/stupid. It's actually a really well known magic trick with an actually simple premise. If you take two separate pieces of string/rope and tie them together at multiple points, as long as only a single one of the ropes is cut between each knot, the rope will remain intact.

I actually really liked how Joseph incorporated a simple magic trick into his fight and it makes perfect sense why Esidisi wouldn't expect it given he's like 2000 years old and has never seen this type of sleight of hand/street magic before.

I've always found the oil column climb to be silly nonsense, but it's funny that Lucy and Jeff thought it dragged on because it took most of one episode. Typical training arcs in other shows are much longer, particularly when filler is inserted to pad things out.

Despite her power and capability, Lisa Lisa can't escape the creepy male gaze. One could argue that there is plenty of manmeat on display, but something about the fanservice of the ladies is less tasteful.

Esidisi is the weirdest Pillar Man to me. His eccentric personality makes him stand out more than his stoic brethren. Not to mention all the body horror with the blood vessels and brains and such.

I always love how much this series has the passion for fashion. Keep in mind the Pillar Men awakened wearing practically nothing and yet both of these dudes went to the trouble of updating and accessorizing their wardrobe before actually pursuing the stone. Joseph's just meant to be as rude as possible to literally every person he meets, it's like his default mode. I believe he's meant to come across as the complete inverse of his grandfather Jonathan, from the pinnacle of gentlemen to the rudest dude on the street. The only trait they really share are their anger issues.

The bubble slander out of Tam and Jeff...!

Also Erratic Blaze King Mode truly is one of the best move names in anime.
