I flew through Reach on Heroic and beat like 4 missions by myself on Legendary so far. I actually think this game is easier than all of the others, maybe I am just crazy, or maybe I am just better than I was back in the day. Also, the end of Reach is the very very beginning of Halo 1, the words Cortana says are the exact words she says at the beginning of the first one. I thought the end of the game was AMAZING in the overall Halo universe, especially with how it leads right into Halo 1, I really wasnt expecting that. I thought that Reach would have occurred years before the events of the first Halo but it's awesome how they tied them so closely together. It also sorta made me sad at the end because its a great wrap up to a series of games that I have loved since I was in middle school, and now it is never going to be the same. Hopefully the next Halo game wont ruin everything about Halo...aw, who am I kidding.

Hearing the guys wax ignorant on Devil May Cry is kinda pissing me off.

I totally understand why Vinnie is saying about the Civ AI not acknowledging your awesomeness. I've found that to be a problem with the previous 4 Civ games.

I've never played halo in coop and I've beaten all of them on legendary you guys make it sound like that is something special.

I believe it's called CivAnon.  At least...that's what the shirts that 2K sent us happen to say.

I loved APB, and I'll miss it, flame me.

Now I really want to play Civilization V. The only Civilization game I've played was Revolution, which I really enjoyed.

You honestly took 30 minutes to beat the last few zealots in Reach?! I guess games journalists really have no idea how to play games sometimes ;-)

I've rarely heard them have a good rage over something quite like they did over the Sonic Adventure DLC. Maybe not since that show where they talked about Wired and sponsored achievements. 
 
Fun fact: I played Sonic Adventure DX on the Gamecube many years ago and rather enjoyed it.

I hope that maybe, little by little, taking baby steps, these guys will eventually have an in-depth discussion about a Total War game for once.  That will make my day, for sure!

Every time I hear about what comes out on DSi-ware I just feel that they really need to get that 3DS out SOON because every iPhone game is better than that garbage!

Also: Great to hear some Civ 5 boosting.

I can only hope that Sega will eventually stop charging a premium just for Sonic games on downloadable services. For example, all the Genesis Sonic titles on Steam are $5 as opposed to $3. 
 
Oh who is kidding who? They'll nickel and dime the blue-hog every chance they get.

Heres a couple of shitty tidbits about the DLC for Sonic Adventure. It doesnt include the Game Gear games that were featured in the PC/GCN versions of the game. 
 
Its also kind of silly that the Game Gear ROMs are also hidden in the download, Sega just took out any access to them. Pretty sneaky, sis!

Currently listening...great podcasts guys!  One correction in the podcast: Around the :40 min mark, the audio levels for the dialog in Halo: Reach is discussed, and a few of the hosts remark that it's a shame there are no subtitles... but there are subtitles in the game if you are having a hard time hearing the words.

Enjoy the bomb cast, but disappointed with Jeff inarticulately wailing on APB (again). Personally I loved it for what it was (a team based open world shooter) rather than what everyone (including the press) deluded themselves into thinking it was going to be (GTA MMO!!!). Certainly a game with release flaws (and hefty system requirements), but  actually pretty good fun with friends overall, but like any form of hardcore shooter in the mould of Counterstrike it does require you as the player to make a serious (time) commitment to learning  the environments, the weaponry, the vehicle handling and the tactics.  Jumping in for half an hour alone, isn't  going to teach you jack.  
 
Ultimately what killed RTW was less to do with APB and more to do with gross mismanagement and dismal PR when you read into it. Even if the game had shipped half a million copies the business model they had tied to it was doomed to failure and would of brought the company down.

civ revolution 2.. just kidding.   I can't wait until the mod community fixes this game.  hopefully they can make a hybrid out of the best of 4 & 5.  that would be one hell of a game.    also Ryan...try playing the game on a harder difficulty LOL
