So glad to finally have a "normal" show with the regular cast.

Never eat at Beth's. The food is consistently TERRIBLE in a city with tons of great places to eat.

Why is a photo of the place where I smoked cigarettes in the '90s the thumbnail?

@chaosordeal: It was definitely horrible the last time I was there. But to be fair, they could have changed a lot in the past 15-20 years.

Beth's is rad. A real Seattle staple. Sadly an icon of an era of Seattle that most folks don't understand any longer. Eat a hangover breakfast there, then go next door to the (now moved to Ballard) Kangaroo and Kiwi for a pint of hair of the dog.

I lived a couple blocks away from there, and I'll tell you, a greasy spoon hangover breakfast was never so satisfying, while I was drawing things with crayons to put on the wall and having a smoke.

Was on that Man vs Food show as well, a clip of the episode is linked below. Mind you it's a miserable shaky cam bootleg copy.

Beth's is both the worst and the best place. It's the definition of "greasy" spoon and over-sized omelettes. There's a very local community feel to it.

@chaosordeal: in the early 2000s at least it was basically the only place (that, and the Hurricane, RIP) to get food at 3am, when the goth club kicked you out and you're too drunk to go home

I have a ton of nostalgia for their admittedly awful food
