A user over at /r/formula1 posted a neat driver height image over the weekend. Sometimes I forget how small some of these guys are.

European races aren't too bad on the East coast, but waking up at 7AM on a Sunday morning is hardly ideal.

And oh look, Bruno Senna crashed out. I don't want to say he's over-rated, because I don't think anyone's really rating him, but he's spent more time in the walls than on track in Formula E this year.

The beginning of races starting at 12am on a Sunday/Monday. Good thing I've finished uni this year and am yet to find full time employment.

Hey guys ever consider doing any WRC coverage (Alt+WRC?), maybe at least to discuss the crazy amount of Sebastiens in motorsport? Sebastien Vettel, Sebastien Ogier (current WRC champion) and of course the venerable Sebastien Loeb?

@vesty: Webber was one F1 driver that had to suffer quite a bit because he was so tall for F1 driver.

He said one of the major reasons he left the sport was how thin he needed to be for the season to get past the weight he got from his height.

Red Bull really need to stop saying they are going to leave F1, surely this posturing will affect the teams, and in particular the drivers and any contracts negotiations with current drivers or those in the Red Bull development program.

Is this podcast recorded in a different studio from the Bombcast? Because neither this podcast nor Danswers ever has skipping, but the Bombcast has been messed up 3 weeks in a row.

@ascara89: besides, that huge money contract they get for F1 that was shown in detail this week (second only to Ferrari at the moment if memory serves)? That's a deal until 2020. They give up a lot if they leave F1. You better believe Bernie's lawyers don't leave loopholes behind.

Besides, it's only Helmut Marko.

Also shame on Drew for not mentioning the best racing this weekend: Zurich ADAC Nurburgring 24 Hours. The top class is GT3 spec sports cars (so Nissan GT-Rs, Mercedes SLS, Audi R8, etc) but there will be more than 100 cars on track of the FULL Nurburgring Nordschleife. For 24 hours.

Oh yes.

As human beings we are all predisposed to games. Some just haven't found their thing.

@amyggen: Well I dunno about Alt-F1, but after looking at the thumbnail for the latest episode of Danswers I'm pretty positive that one is recorded in studio because I recognize that background from Gamespot's old Hotspot podcast and Gameplay podcast back when those were livestreamed. Gamespot used to record quite a few videos from that podcast room. I'm curious if that's the same place they record the Bombcast.

I guess it won't matter soon though as I hear both Gamespot and Giant Bomb are moving their offices to the first floor and getting new studios. Hope that happens soon because the skipping in the Bombcast has been driving me nuts these past few weeks.
