Something tells me they won't do a "this is for fun" victory lap.

Seems like all the enemy spawns and timing of boss attacks are pretty fixed (i.e. attacks come at fixed intervals), why not just count the seconds out on boss battles? And why does Dan insist on jumping into slow-moving attack paths? Love the series, but quickly losing interest as it's so frustrating to watch repeatedly failing the same things.

Dan, be serious. Its a boar, not a rhino.

You just know the last boss is gonna be complete bullshit.

It's just like Megaman or Contra etc in that there's zero randomness, so you can beat it fairly easy if you just memorize it and go through it methodically. Trying to play it by ear just means this series will be thirty parts instead of the 5 or 6 it'd be if you played in a row and payed attention.

I hope we eventually remember about that one punchy enemy that jumps down from the ceiling in level 3.

It has a degree of randomness in that the hitboxes and hit detection are dodgy, though I get what you're arguing.

I beat this game many years ago as a wee lad multiple times. I'm pretty sure the boss on the tiger level you can use the up down ability behind the boss if you space it right as the hitbox for the ability is larger than the one for your character to take damage. I don't believe I ever used the little slow wavy ball on him. Plus you dodge all the crap he shoots out front. You just have to time your attacks right and duck when he floats low.

Man that last level is incredible

God I hate this game and I'm going to watch all of these episodes.

I had to beat this game using the code. Its terrible.

The game's abject shittiness just straight up batters our fine Duders over and over and over and over again.

In classic "This Is The Run" fashion, the only time they used anything like that strategy, it was the first time they fought the boss.

Hey, this video doesn't show up in the Giant Bomb API like Roku or iPad's Video Buddy. Neither does the Holiday Smash Bros. show. Those are primarily how I watch your content, and it makes me wonder how many videos I've missed.

It's easy.

It really is the wakeup shadukens that stopped me from getting into Street Fader VI. Always such a complex game to get into.
