"Verpisst euch" could be used in place of GTFO

And yes Drew, you pronounced Österreich quite well. Now show me how you pronounce a CH.

That NASCAR fight was pretty weak. I thought they were pretending when I first saw it a few days ago. They looked like boxers clinching after 8 rounds of fighting.

Yeah, ransomware is rather common now. They usually hit business since it's most profitable.

The hackers will encrypt your system, and will ask for money to give you the key.

They usually will, but you have little choice if you want your files back.

Also, in 2011 Colorado Springs started paving Pikes Peak. 2011 was the last year for the dirt road version It used to be more mental

I'm a proud Colorado native, and it's a lot of fun riding motorcycles in the mountains.

Man, the Danswers all about Brexit would be interesting. Because Dan.

But I guess by now he's probably had enough people on social media yell at him about it that we've already missed all the classic Dan "what's the big deal" moments.

This is what I was thinking as I watched that, where did the dirt go? It was very crazy to watch those cars sliding about.

Useless knowledge ahoy!

A # in a url is known as a Fragment Identifier. The oldish way of using it was that you'd have a web page at some url (so http://example.com/coolpage.html ), and if you wanted to link to a specific part of the page, you'd have some part of the page with a particular id and then you'd add that to the end of your url (so http://example.com/coolpage.html#thatidyoulike ). When you followed that link, it would load that page and (hopefully) scroll to that part.

Nowdays it's mostly used for storing some extra navigation or state information in a possibly bookmark-friendly way since you can easily fiddle with anything after the # in javascript without actually changing what page your browser is on.

@drewbert If you haven't already, you should check out Dirt Rally!

It has an amazing Pike's Peak, and is an entire game about that white-knuckle, no second chances feeling of point-to-point rallying.

I thought everyone loved the A1-Ring! (it's still the A1-Ring for me.) It's fast, hard on brakes, with some great fast turns and plenty of overtaking. All of that in only 9 turns! It's not only one of my favourite to watch, but probably the one I enjoy the most when driving on video games.

Ah man. I want to listen to the show but I'm still so bummed about the referendum I don't really wanna hear people talk about it. Can anyone give me a timestamp of when it stops being mentioned or is it just being peppered through the show?

@ratamero: Yeah, I came here to say that. As someone who started following F1 around 1999 (and has watched every races since) the A1 Ring is a classic and one of the rare old school track left on the calendar.

Couldn't disagree more with @dannyodwyer

I would take the A1 Ring, Hungary or Imola over any other circuits added in the last 15 years. Actually, I think the only good circuit added since Malaisia in 1999 was Turkey which was really amazing. Every other Herman Tilke circuits that have been added since have been terrible snorefests. Especially the middle-east one (Abu Dhabi and Bahrein).

Skip the first 2 minutes. Then skip between 38 minutes and 43 minutes. I think that's all of it.

BTW if you add 273.15 to a temperature in Celsius (Centigrade is an older name for the same scale) you get Kelvin. So, practice is going to be 295.15° K and the race is expected to be 291.15° K...

I also have to admit that I liked the Pikes Peak hill climb better before they paved it to the top...

PlayStation Vue is available on Roku and Android now, so if you didn't have a PlayStation or didn't want to watch TV on your PlayStation you can watch the races other places for $30 a month.

Well, the one guy who was defending himself isn't really fighting back, just trying to hold the other guy off so he can't do anything. At the end when he was punching him in the head he should have just kneed him in the crown jewels though, he was wide open at that point, and the attacker had raised the stakes to face punching, so at that point anything goes IMO.

@voodoopc: Yeah it was a very awkward fight indeed... I think the guy expected someone to bust in and pull them apart before they could do any real damage to each other and when they kinda let them have at it he didn't really know what to do!
