Bioware takes one more step backwards towards the gaping maw that is EA's studio mass grave. Just some space left on the edge called Dragon Age 4.

I like the Demo, but with that said there are better games you can play, including some Free-To-Play games. The game is more like Dragon Age with Mech instead of Destiny. I think Bioware faithfuls will support the game to keep Bioware from getting shut by EA, but still they could have done a lot better at launch from what I'm seeing.

For what it's worth, I just hit level 26 and unlocked all four classes, and I haven't finished the story. I also just got a masterwork weapon with a neat modifier that gives you a damage buff after reloading (still hate shotguns though :/).

I've been playing on hard with a friend, which I think gives a small xp bump. I've done every side mission, and repeated two missions cus it bugged out somehow and I didn't get credit the first time.

I think it's all totally fair criticism though. I will say that it's actually kinda hard to find games that do coop well. Many games will not give progress to some players, or not scale well if one member is low level, and so on. Anthem does handle that kind of coop stuff correctly, which makes it bearable enough to play with other folks.

I might be incorrect, but I swore Destiny also rolled out loot in tiers? Like you worked your way up to seeing purple drops. I figured Anthem was just following its loot system, too.

Regardless, it's a crappy loot system.

edit: VVV @relic Ah okay, I was misremembering then! Thanks for clearing that up.

@mayor_mccheese: You could get higher tier gear on earlier levels. I had a purple while working through the campaign that dropped randomly. You stopped getting whites and greens at a certain point; Anthem still dropped those for high level players who ran strongholds before the latest patch came out.
