I really don't like the look of the new video player. The video looks and plays just fine, but the player itself and the icons look kind of cheap and out of place.

New video player randomly skips ahead a second every now and then. Anyone else having this issue?

A little late I realize, but the way you beat Bomb Man more easily is you hit him with the fireball that circles your body, rather than the one you shoot. You've got to put yourself in more danger by getting close, but the reward is a quicker kill.

I just wish alex would have kept his rockband drumming out of this video. It just doesn't make for good content.

I haven't been to the Williamsburg Barcade in a few years, but the last time I was there, it was pretty much the same story as the Manhattan one: people standing and drinking around the arcade machines (and not actually playing anything).

I remember a friend gave me shit for weeks after he saw me walk up to two ladies only to ask them to move out of the way so that I could play Ghosts n' Goblins.

I have seen The Keep. The Keep is bad.

I'm going to be disappointed if I don't hear Vinny's Mega Man impersonation again.

I think the dodge strategy is to make a basic effort to get out of the way.

@jacksukeru: Thanks, never heard of that and wasn't sure what to Google. The way it was just sitting there reminded me of the magnet beam; it would have been nuts if they made an extremely hard-to-get-to permanent power-up right before the endgame.

I never had a good strategy for Fire Man, but watching this video it seems like he's trying to always stay the same dictance from you before he fires. So I guess the strategy would be to continuously move closer and then further away from him so that he spends more time moving and less time shooting, thus making his shots easier to dodge.

Oh, looking at IMDB, apparently they did make a fifth one in 2012. So I guess there are actually four of them.

I bought the Legacy Collection when they started this series, I'm onto Mega Man 5 now, at least I can watch this for a while without any hints.

I've never played any of them before, despite them being quite frustrating I can't get enough.

Regarding French Stewart playing Marv in Home Alone 4.

Daniel Stern, who played Marv in the first two films, was approached to reprise his role in this one. Stern quickly declined, calling it "an insult, total garbage."

Daniel Stern seems like an ok guy.

New Video player is super janky for me. Keeps pausing and then turning off completely.

As they were talking about Home Alone sequels I remembered this, and then I also remembered that The Critic made a "Jurassic Park 2" joke...and look at where we are today.

Alex's comments at the end about temperature made me want to throw out a couple of factoids.

8000 degrees in insanely hot no matter the scale, but of the major three Celsius is the hottest and Fahrenheit is the coolest. 8000 K is roughly equal to 7727 C and 14000 F. To put that into perspective Aluminium melts at only 930 K, Iron melts at around 1800 K, and boils at 3100 K.

Even the surface of the sun itself is only 5700 K. Experimental fusion reactors and synchrotrons can produce temperatures in the range of billions of Kelvin, but only for a fraction of a second. The only viable modern technology capable of sustaining more than 8000 K is probably inductively coupled plasma.

So yeah, basically 8000 K is real hot. So hot in fact that it could blind you by looking at it and could melt literally anything at 1atm.

It happens to me as well, but only on "auto". I wonder if it buffers further out if you pick a setting, kinda dumb that I can watch high just fine but we get skips on auto.

@phoenix87: I still miss Austin though I wish Dan well. I've been catching Austin as much as possible at waypoint. To me, Dan is more of a video reaction guy who could do well on YouTube or maybe stream on twitch with his endless questions. But I can see him being part of the New York crew.

Austin is a completely different character that I appreciate and wish he was still part of Giant Bomb. I understand that Austin has a dream job now and I'm happy for him too

The Man in the High Castle was written by Philip K. Dick. The movie Alex might have thought was a graphic novel could be the rotoscoped adaptation of A Scanner Darkly by the same author.
