The only redeeming quality grapefruit possesses is the fact that it gave us this great Aziz Ansari story about 50 Cent.

Man, Rivals of Aether looks rad, and it apparently gets rid of two things that I hate about competitive Smash: shields and grabs.

Rivals of Aether! I picked this up last week after eyeing it for some time, so this video's timing is perfect. I had it recommended to me during a conversation about how a) all of my college friends now live in different cities and b) we miss Smash, so it seemed a pretty natural fit. I looked it up on youtube before picking it up and noticed there's at least enough of a scene to warrant tournaments and the like. That said, I still haven't played it yet. Hoping to crack into it this weekend.

Very late on this vid, but two thoughts: 1) Smash is trash w/o items and all its clones are too. 2) Menu music sounds so much like Tetsuya Naito's walkout music I can't get over it. Ben, you are great and these are very fun. Keep it up!
