Heyyy, now with an intro!

I love this game and it's been the only thing to finally pull me away from Rocket League.

This video begins in medias res and ends with a surprise fade to black to what sounds like a Twitch stream! Exciting stuff.

You dudes had excellent energy and chemistry during this stream. I would honestly like to see more of it this way rather than the Murder Island format which feels a little too formal. Jeff does so well in the second chair, always reminds me of the Bombcast 1.0 format.

This is a really good game and I should jump back in. Haven't been playing much after hitting level 50. I was trying to get a win with the last of the 8 legends (Gibraltar...) and had about 20 games in a row with shit squadmates, wherein we would get absolutely rocked by players with 1,100 kills per legend. Just went back to Titanfall 2 and started wrecking as if it was 2017 again, haha. But you guys reminded me this can be good, balanced fun sometimes!

@tensionhead: Definitely agree here, good energy, good back and forth. A gameplay session of the aftercast turns out to also work pretty damn well!

@jcofdi: Are you me? I typically main rocket league but this game is so damn good, its pulling me away too!

Just a quick tip: Instead of wasting shield cells after a fight, look for a new body shield first.

Also I'll never understand just how the fuck some people have 5000+ kills or whatever. That's just insane.

I'm such an obsessive looter in this game that Ben's haphazard way of just leaving ton of shit behind is making it pretty painful to watch this at times. But it was a fun stream regardless.

Need 10X more apex legends content on giantbomb. Love everything about this stream. What about one where the team drinks two red bulls and plays apex legends while streaming?

Glad to see that 30-40hrs in Ben is trying to learn how to "get good" with all the guns and Pathfinder's advanced grapple tactics, yet has no interest in learning how to loot/use shield cells haha

Ben should play with giantbomb community members and any time they get a kill they have to try out a new catch phrase for a member of the team. Enemy gets killed by inferno grenade "Jan says you just got char-zar-dead."

They haven't made this a show yet so it's easier to find the older episodes yet?

@sessh: I've played a good bit and that blows my mind. However I think some people just try and jump in for action right away and get kills but not caring about lasting the whole game. Meanwhile I get 2-3 kills a game but last fairly long because I pick and choose my battles and wait it out. My objective is wins/top 5 finishes and less kills.

Eh, I think the crux of the joke was more about annoying randos they've gotten match made with, not just about making fun of amateur streamers. That's why they continued on talking about people that ping excessively afterwards. Besides, people who are talking to someone else (someone in their house, being on the phone, or streaming) while on mic are annoying and frankly, being pretty rude towards the people they are playing with. They aren't influencing anyone to do anything other than to mute and ignore them.

Edit: Ironically, Ben then proceeded to get distracted by talking to Jeff and admittedly didn't have his head in the game, wandering off by himself, looting poorly and not recharging his shields while his two teammates destroyed a third of the competition and carried him to victory. Which is a annoying rando thing to do, and it is pretty funny to me, given their complaints.

@infinity_thor: Yeah, sure, but even then you'd have to have to played the game for hundreds of hours already.

I've done some insane gaming sessions in my time too, but I'll just never get people that seem to play the same game 20 hours a day, every day. It's just weird.

The last online game I played with friends was Rocket League. The last online shooter was Black Ops 2 on the Xbox 360. It feels good to get into a game that is so easy to hop in and out of.

Seriously as a father of two young kids I do not have the mental capacity to play 1-hour spurts of big games like Witcher. I love big games but I lose my flow.
