So... WWE might be a godsend to the press conference industry. Because Austin can clearly sell the dumbest most asinine bits imaginable in ways that make me forget just how hokey it is.

Fun show, but that's on you guys, I think. I was severely lukewarm because ea has created this landscape for itself that just is surprising when it's good, expected when it's bad, and also, expected. Because that's how EA do. And sometimes, when it's expected, they surprise just enough to make it interesting, but this service model is only interesting as the content, and I just don't trust them to give single player game resources enough, or even live service games enough resources to make each stand-out-goty worthy anything again.

Like, it makes sense, if you are the soccer/football people, and the all these huge IP holder games-people publishers, how do you keep EVERYTHING you are producing interesting? Honestly, mocap has come so fucking far, I finished building a studio for it using two different, equally valid if not on the same fidelity/scope level as these big-boy studio rigs. Alls i'm saying is it's not impressive as a technical showy thing for games and realism. Seriously, we've circled back on Mocap even, because post-work mocap is such a known even mainstream that advertising their workflow on mocap is smoother is like saying the obvious thing like, graphics got better, but like, less exciting. Senua's mocap dept. must have died laughing at the flex in that fifa bit, all the same- It felt like the weirdest thing to focus on, but given how little you can say about Fifa..and I suppose it is ALSO powered by Football. I dunno, make the ball on fire now EA, take some risks, or a break?

either way, enjoyed hangin in on this PC with you guys- EA generally, kinda imo continues to suck at game interest trends and being late, and even just reading the room as a huge issue they have with games- so, even with those accidental gems they produce, with increasing frequency, even if you have to squint to see that, they still do, and know they have ground to cover. Takeaway, bleh, they still don't understand their *most interesting strengths, but they may be trying now and building others in their place. So while I won't get a good SSX game ever again, I still am excited for the obvious-fan-move-to-stay-relevant-and-earn-goodwill Battlefield 2042. *Shrug* iduno ea. Prove it. Excited to see what the deal is with GRID Legends but the handling model is iffy, as others have said. No interest in a dead space remake.

I don't think I'll ever understand why people get so into things like the Apex Legends character videos. The reason TF2's videos were so good is because they were actually funny, entertaining short films on their own. When other games try to do it it just comes off like a cutscene combined with an advertisement.

Not really... into any of it... to be honest, remaking a classic game from a developer EA dismantled is a bit depressing, but it's not the first or last time they'll do that, Dead Space is still available on Steam if you want to play it and the 2nd game is more impressive than the first.
I'm extremely done with Battlefield, adding random game modes with random vehicles doesn't change the gameplay at all.
The FMV could be fun but i haven't enjoyed Grid in a long time, F1 is good, it's always good.
