Man, why don't they read the comments?

I know when I'm trying to enjoy a video game I constantly wish I had hundreds of strangers telling me the "right way" to play it so I don't do or discover anything for myself. That would improve my experience.

@Diablos102: Did it ever occur to you that a lot of people actually play games like this? I constantly hear of people that don't bother remembering information previously handed out. I reckon it's one of the issues with current games. Everything is handed to you on a silver platter, or at least easily accessible.

This is what you get for watching other people play games. They won't necessarily do what you know is right.

This is true but you also have to understand that some people get frustrated not because of Byan&Batrick missing things, but because the game gets blamed when they miss those things e.g. The game doesn't tell you exactly where to go next, even though the Old Man basically told them.

Anyway, not me though. I guess part of the ER is becoming frustrated, I guess that's part of the entertainment and I'm lovin' it!

Anyone want to offer up some tips on where I should go next?

I just got Epoch and I am kind of lost on where to go now. Should I head back to the End of Time? I also realized too late about the magical treasure chest mechanic on some of them :(

I remember those one handed controllers, but having Star Ocean 2 pretty much made it useless.

Pretty good, however you guys need to have Bucca visit the magic dude at the end of time, otherwise she won't learn any new techniques as it's stopping her skills being learned.

What they SHOULD do is to not get anyone else their magic and forget that that guy is even there until Ryan randomly goes through that door at the end of time in episode 30. This would be the appropriate course of action.

Edit: they should also constantly complain about how weak the non-magic users as well.

I'm waiting for an episode where they make us proud. Ryan will skip players that don't need to go yet; they'll see the treasure chests or the fairly obvious ways to them; they'll remember to learn spells; nothing will go wrong, and we'll all say how impressed we are with how much the guys have come along. I still believe.

I LIKE bad-jrpg-playing Ryan and Patrick. That's why I love this endurance run. This ain't Vinny and Jeff; they're not gonna somehow learn how to max out their social links or whatever. They're gonna bumble about for the entertainment of all of us. Not that i dislike the OG ERs, I just want these guys to do their own thing for fun, not to beat the game perfectly or speedily.

I love how they continue to be terrible at this game, it makes watching it more fun. Kinda frustrating since I know it pretty well, but fun. Also, I know advice is uselss since i'm pretty sure these were recorded a while ago.

Ryan, I know you like to pronounce words incorrectly for humorous effect, but JUST IN CASE, "Magus," I believe, should really be pronounced MAY-JUS. I believe this on the evidence that the hero fighting him is named Cyrus, and it was Cyrus the Great that defeated the Medes, a nation ruled by the Magi (sing. Magus).

I'm just waiting to see how long it takes them to realize that Bucca's not learning any techs. They have to notice sooner or later... right? The suspense is killing me!

I'm surprised they didn't catch the cheesy "Free Bird" reference in there; the game pretty much spelled it out for them at one point. Oh well...

Since it was one time event I am 100% (with the fact only one file was erased) that Patrick deleted the save file.

Take the Epoch to the ice age (12,000 B.C I believe) and head back up to Zeal.

Yep, just forgot about the cave up NW area. Figured it out from there and holy shit what great XP farming up in those mountains with the chain!

The fact they haven't taken Bucca to get her magic from the guys at the end of time is making my Chrono Trigger memories rage. But I do like watching them play it.

I just wish the episodes were a solid hour long like the P4 ER. There is sooo much content that they need to make these episodes longer.
