It seems you were missing Polly's trading card which would have let you finish the puzzle opening the door.

you have to have the polly card for the special door.

Spiritual Map C holds an infinite RPG, by the way. As for the ??? door, you had the right idea, but probably needed the card. Inside is a short scene and you get the SWERY card, with a goofy-ass cartoon version of Swery holding a sapling on it.

If you have the Polly card and do everything in order you will go through a series of doors. At the end York will be standing there and hand you card 65, which is Swery. You can enter anytime afterwards and find York and Emily there, and they'll smile at you for a couple of seconds.
