Endurance Run: Persona 4 - Part 120

Nanako's dungeon is really interesting. Can't wait to see more!

I hope they put Chie back in, I thought Naoto was awful.

OK, so on one hand we got Naoto, who has a gun, which is a plus, and on the other hand, we got Chie, who likes steak.....damn it this is hard....

Naoto's abilities are more suited for handling dungeons.
Not exactly useful when going for bosses.

Probably better off with Chie.
Y'know, so as to not die.

Naoto is good for going up the floors, shitty for boss fights.

When chie learns gods hand, she is super powerful.

man, this level is heartbreaking. Say without spoiling anything, if they get this level done with quickly does that mean the game will end quicker? because I want as much endurance run as possible.

I like how Naoto goes gangsta grip when she shoots her card.

Actually Naoto should replace Yukiko, the MC gets alot more power fire attcks than naything else and can heal better.

Haven't finished the video but if you need money to pay fox, go through Naoto's dungeon and get her weapon, I'm sure you'll make over 30k on your way down.

We're getting near the end aren't we?  Is it too late to start placing bet on which episode the Endurance Run will end on?  I think they'll finish before 150.

Wow, you really didnt get very far in this episode despite it being over 60 minutes....but hey, you still have a ton of days left so, no biggie.

this dungeon reminds me of the beginning of the game when they fight the mist

Good thing they almost never use Tam Lin because he's completely worthless now.

Isn't Tam Lin from Devil Summoner? I seem to remember her being in the quick look.

Tam Lin has a lot of STR you should have replaced auto-maraku or ziodyne for that skill, Deathbound could have hit very hard with power charge =(

You guys should leave Tam Lin in at the beginning of battle to get the Auto-Maraku which will bring everyone's damage down 40% for the first three rounds. When you know weaknesses already, most battles aren't going to last more than 3 rounds anyway. You'll save a ton of SP this way. You can switch to your invigorate guy afterward. Tam Lin is one of your most useful Peronae right now, but you don't seem to realize what he can do for you.

well, so far im geussing they'll get the bad ending caususe they are going with the 1st-time player "kill all you see" style... and we all know what happens if you try to kill everyone. EVERYONE

Yeah, she was there, but i think that all SMT games have the same personae/demons. "

In my opinion, you could swap Chie for Teddie and Yukiko for Naoto. Chie's ice has gotten super weak, and you have fire/healing covered on Charlie. Of course, you'd have to level Teddie up some first. Humm.

Yes, all SMT games share the same type of "monsters".  In Persona they are called "Personae" and in Devil Summoner they are called "Demons", I believe. "

The only thing which ever annoyed me about the Endurance run is the random shouts from vinny and jeff, going from talking to shouting

Ouch.  You guys should probably remake your Tam Lin seeing as how you got rid of both Tempest Slash and Deathbound but kept Power Charge.  He's not that useful as a lightning guy with his low magic.

Damn, watching you guys screw over Tam Lin like you screwed over Chie was painful.

I love how whenever Jeff sees a new enemy he automatically goes, "Aw Jeez"

Guys, remember that if you need SP, but don't want to pay Fox, you could always go to easier dungeons with an Invigorate persona and guard, until you're back up.

Also, when you get the chance, fuse Alice, who has all sorts of Mudos!

Hahaha, man you guys are so silly! Tam Lin has all that Strength and you get rid of both his physical attacks but then leave Power Charge, which only effects physical. But whatevs, not a big deal or anything. Just a silly thing to do.

Maybe you guys should hop out of the TV some day and use all those new materials to buy some weapons / armor that could improve the stats a LOT.

Heh, you guys got jumped a lot this episode. But hey, it's getting near the end of the game so all the monsters are out for blood. Stay tough.

I used Tam Lin as my Main persona, since I fused over Invigorate 2 on it. I was "the Lightning guy" and switched out for a Light / Dark when needed.
Auto-Maraku is great. It gives a defense boost to your whole party for 3 turns, and that's enough to finish a random battle and minimize casualties when you're still figuring out the enemies weakness.

Some slight tips for this dungeon:
- I didn't find the Miniboss to dangerous personally. It's not week or strong to anything, so just hit it with everything you got.
- On the later levels you'll fight a white Intrepid Knight. It's week to Lightning, but Lightning will to very pittiful damage for whatever reason. It's also Strong to Physical and immune to instant death spells and Dizzy. He's a real pain. The only thing you can really do to him is hit it with non-phys and non-lightning stuff, or hit it with Lightning once, so that he'll get knocked down and then keep hitting him with other things while he's down. (Knocked down people can't dodge and take more damage). All Out Attacks don't work too well.
- This place has 10 levels (the boss is on the 10th). I look forward to your commentary when you get there ;]

EDIT: Luxury Hand is Null to everything that's not Almighty! You have to kill him with Megidola-ish spells, or hope to dodge his attack so he knocks himself down :/
And to kind of put this into perspective I was 67 when I finished the dungeon, and about 61 when I started it.
