Guys, there's no need to grind on an old dungeon.  The enemies will give you jack for EXP since the EXP scales down the higher your level is.  If you're going to go for the bonus boss, you might as well rush and avoid combat.  If you have to grind, grind in the Heaven dungeon.

@Amp: Skipping all those enemies was smart. Fighting them yields garbage EXP and is pretty much just a waste of time. If they fought EVERY mob they skipped, one person on their team MIGHT have leveled up; it's just not worth the time and I'm glad they finally realized that. Better late than never, right?

Yay, the Endurance Run's up! But wait, there's a typo on the front-page image, or I'm totally clueless on what a dungoen is.

Not really feeling all the mindless talk about.. no clue, I couldn't focus what they were blabbering about :( First persona ep I didn't really like.

Really loving the general discussion, gives something to listen to whilst watching you chore through those dungeons, more things like that in tomorrow's would be welcome.

Yes, the first Matrix movie was good.

How bizzare, because i totally also watched the Matrix, just now, it was on TV, and err, yeah it's an awesome movie for sure, better than i remember. Way better, blew my mind a little this time.

For the record, each dungeon has its own sets of treasure that shows up in chests. You should save all of your Chest Keys for the dungeon you're currently in. Hopefully you'll get an Eye of Ice for Yukiko so she doesn't get hit by ice as often.
 
Also, certain monsters only show up on rainy days, and those monsters drop special materials that you can't get anywhere else. Rain, at least to my knowledge, doesn't affect treasure chests at all.

Is anyone else disappointed they didn't use their B team for this dungeon?  It's nice that they finished fast and all, but Kanji and Teddie would have shot up to level useful pretty damn fast here.

I think they gave up on them long time ago.

I've been so addicted to Persona 3 that I had totally forgotten about Endurance Run, which has been the first thing I would do in the mornings since episode 50.
 
So many things seems slightly backwards in P3 after watching P4 for 60-65 hours.
 
WHEN THE FUCK IS PERSONA 5 FOR THE PS3 COMING OUT! IT BETTER NOT BE ON THE FUCKING PS2!
 
Also, Vinny, good job figuring out how registering works at the 65 hour mark.
 
Guys, I know Black Frost is the shit, but honestly, you'd be way better off fusing him and leaving him behind. He won't learn anything else, and he's more than a few levels behind your average Persona level.
 
Also, thanks for talking about relevant shit. I usually skip over the battle episodes, or at least skip 5 minutes every now and then to get through. This episode was very entertaining thanks to your opinionated talks. Please do more, seeing as how battling will take a while.

I like listening to the guys talk on like it's a podcast and get puzzled about by the gameplay while it's ALSO entertaining to me to overanalyze everything they do regarding gameplay decisions and sound irritated about it.
 
For those wanting me to chill out, I actually am. If i was truly offended or enraged by what they're doing in the game, I'd stop watching.

why are you guys pussyfooting around not calling mara by name? is it the voldemort of persona?

Mara has a pretty awesome persona design. If you can fuse a resist/reflect light skill, hes got an awesome defense lineup. Not that great of offense, sadly they removed his persona-specific skill from P3, 
Maralagidyne was the strongest general use attack in the game and had a matching animation made of win  :(
 
Also, try to get and use daisoujou (lvl 60) if you can, he has far stronger light attacks then Naoto will ever get. We're talking skills that have a high chance of killing even enemies resistant to light. Alice is the dark persona specialist with a slightly better skillset, and cute :D, but also about 10 levels higher up the ladder.
 
Remember there is no penalty to fusing things that you want to keep, you can just pull it right back out. Stop saying "Oh I don't want to lose that guy". There is no reason to have anything less then the best persona's and skill sets you can get, it pays off in the dungeon. Seriously the best thing to do right now is to make EVERY persona you fuse get reflect physical from Rangda or any persona fused from Rangda.

No spoilers: You guys have to try pesto. 
 
Also, would you consider doing a Persona 4 review when the endurance run is over? Having watched you play through the game, it'd be interesting to see how that translates into a review. Like how many stars are lost for not having a Naoto swimsuit portrait.

Good episode and I can't wait for tomorrow when they fight this second boss.

I enjoyed the off-topic banter in this episode. I usually skip most of the dungeon grinding episodes, but the "mini-podcast" made this more enjoyable. 
 
Also, because the quality of the stream is so bad, the only reason you'd want to do a live stream is to interact with the audience, which sadly, had to be assholes with spoilers. Maybe if someone who isn't as attached to the story of Persona 4 and be impartial to spoilers (maybe Drew) could act as a middle man between the chat room and you guys. It might be neat if you could take advice from the chat room on the fly.
