Endurance Run: Persona 4 - Part 124

Was never a big fan of Daisoujou (I think Alice is cooler), but Samsara is the ultimate light spell in the game and it can't be inherited.  So I'd say you stumbled on a pretty cool skill.

I don't know about everyone else, but I think it would be kind of cool for them to level up the B-Team. Even if it's completely pointless. I have no idea why I think this however.

I don't think they have kept that mentality.  They cast lightning on a rock so I think they just test everything now without thinking too much about it.  And anyways, you have to test all elements to see if the enemy is weak anyways so it doesn't matter. "
 
 

oh man, Makarakarn gone, what a horrible choice. Though not that there's anyway they could of know that it is godly against this boss.
 
Also grinding up the B-team doesn't take that long, they get bonus exp for fighting stuff that is higher level. Just throw in 1 or 2 for 9th paradise and they'll be back in action.

don't worry about the boss, he bgins just using normal attacks, (Gods hand) (megidolaon) but around 2/3 hp he will start analzing you guys and than hitting your weaknesses so cover them. At 1/3 hp is a surprise but just be prepared with healing items!

Daisoujou? Nice Persona. Trying to get into Iron Maiden or something?
 
As for next episode . . . I'm hoping for a boss fight.

Forget about Kanji and Teddy, they're a lost cause. Decide on Naoto or Chie now, don't switch around all the time or you'll end up with 2 underleveled characters.

They really need to get rid of Rangda. She has had nothing left to learn for a long time and her lightning is weak - hell, she doesn't even have a Mazio spell. Do more fusing and get powerful Personas...
 
Makarakarn can be extremely useful too. And Cerberus was only 4000 EXP away from learning Fire Amp...
 
Leveling up the B-team at this point would be pretty pointless, but if you really wanted to you can swap them in and go into Heaven. Get the player advantage on every fight and rely on weaknesses to knock the enemies down. If Charlie can cast every type of spell then it wouldn't be much of a problem, you'll just NEED the advantage. The EXP scales as well, Charlie may be getting 2000 or so from these fights, but Kanji would get TONS more.

Don't wanna be "that guy" but I don't think you'll beat the boss as is. Chie isn't a high enough level and Yukiko hasn't learnt Mediarahan. You'd be wiser just hunkering down and grinding a few levels on Floor 8/9 for an hour or two.

You forgot to unequipped Naoto armor and replace it with Chie armor.
 
Who cares about the B team :-p. You already have a good healer, a good magic dealer and a good attacker. I say stick with the A team.

Kanji and Teddie will level up really quickly fighting higher level guys, just take them to the 1st Paradise (when you leave you can still enter at the 10th Paradise).

If you want the ER to go even longer, level up some of the other dudes.  
 
I did the entire game with chie/yosuke/yukiko and had no problem.  I made Chie a bit more useful by giving her a HP +30% item and she had around 700 HP, then she would do power charge, or just lots of physical skills.  With a maxed S.link, she will "endure a mortal blow".  So, you can run her HP really low, and any enemy attack will still only put her at 1 hp.  Then just complete heal her.

Please dont waste time leveling up characters you WONT use. There is NO point at ALL to it. Just wastes your time.

please fight the boss tml...i am sure you can still win even though it might be a bit of a challenge at your lvl

Hint for next boss: Its ALL about dishing out as much elemental damage as you can. So Chie and Naoto are both pretty much equally bad. Teddie does as good as Yosuke/Yukiko and Kanji is still decent, but you would have to spend 2 or 3 floors leveling them up again.
 
Overall, sadly Chie is one of the weakest characters against bosses  in terms of total damage. Naoto can do decently with the Almighty skills, but her SP is toast without the Half-SP cost item you get from the bonus boss of this dungeon. Kanji is in a similar situation as Naoto. Yukiko/Teddie/Yosuke are the overall top characters, though the game is still easily completable even on hard mode with the weaker ones.

i'm going to be pretty bummed if they decide to do a grind ep with the B team tomorrow and make us wait for the boss over the weekend... ._.

I vote for going in and trying your luck on the boss.  Difficult fights are always more fun to watch ( Remember when you beat Yukiko's shadow, against all odds?  That was awesome!  Remember when the Contrarian King wiped your whole party?  That was hilarious!  Plus it gives us something to talk about. ).   If you lose, you lose.  No biggy.  At least you'll find out if you really need to grind or not.

On the other hand, if you decide to be cautious, I'd say a good level would be around 65 for this boss.

the ideal level for this boss is 67 along with a well fused Trumpeter...but it's possible to beat him at lower levels too just don't forget to use buffs and de-buffs...and items like diamond shield and assault signal although i don't know if u have those at this point...oh and something else...for anyone who has not played this game and intends to,the Margaret(Empress) social link and her requests help the gamer immensely because she suggests crucial Persona fusions especially towards the maximize of this link...

If they ever get Samsara that's gonna be a hell of a spell.

I thought I saw a Thor available towards the end in the fusing part. I have no idea what that is but judging by the amount of times it was quoted in the last weeks comments, it seems important.

Power Charge + God Hand would like a word with you.  Now Naoto is bad Vs. Bosses because most of them are resistant to Almighty, and SP. "

My advice to the investigation team: decide now if you want to go all the way for the true ending or not. It will take you a little more time to do that...

C'mon. Do it!

If you start on floor one again it will NOT  reset you to a lower level, you will still be able to jump in at the boss.
