I'd guess that these were all filmed in advance so probably too late to matter.. but
 
You won't see any Tower, Judgement, Fortune, or Fool personas if you don't use Triple fusion, all you guys do is doubles and you never see any of those unique personas. The Max S. Link Fool is Level 63! and hes got some good ice spells.
 
in short, USE TRIPLE FUSION

Congrats on making Nebiros. Now you'll never use her because she doesn't have any offensive spells or attacks. Excellent.
Fusing Clotho now... you could have waited till you had 10 with Naoto, really.

I'm torn.  I enjoy the endurance run for the entertainment value and commentaries, but it's obvious neither participants know or care about RPG enough to really delve into the different systems in the game.  This has been practically a series of lessons on "how not to play" Persona 4 properly.  So I'm not sure if I want to see another endurance run after this, maybe if it's on a game that I don't give a crap about so I won't care how they botch it up.

@Zalasta: Good gosh, people really get upset over this stuff. Are they really playing it that bad? Besides the obvious underleveling, where have they really messed up? Oh noes, they're not gonna create the ultimate, gamebreaking persona. Is it really that big of a deal.

did anyone notice that when they were rolling cybele, when samarecarm popped up it had one more move but when it didn't, it had two. indicating that it would learn it later on

That's what happens when the Persona inherits a spell that it would otherwise have learned.  Vinny and Jeff had commented on that in an earlier episode.

What does how they are playing matter if in the end they succeed and had fun with it?

I noticed that sometimes when you guys were trying to get certain spell for Cybele she had 3 spells she could learn and sometimes 2. If you go back and see Vinny trying to re-roll Cybele you can see that.

Seriously, who defines "proper gameplay"? The dudes who write walkthroughs that everyone else just apes? It's certainly not Atlus, otherwise they would have called the game "connect the dots 4".
